Dark, old finish, the circular carved top featuring a wide band of carved acanthi centering a carved roundel, mounted with forged iron tilting top mechanism on a turned vasiform standard and raised on outswept cabriole legs with snake foot.
Measures 27.5 x 28.5 inches.
Good intact condition, old finish including possible remnants of the original, operable and sturdy, the effects of age and use to include wood shrinkage and separations, slightly misshapen top. Good condition overall commensurate with age.
