Six stone artifacts from the George Nichols collection include: A 2-inch Snyder hafted scraper, Woodland culture, Miller site-Lamine River. True Hopewell village at confluence of Lamine R and Mo. R'; a 2.25-inch Scraper / Tool as pictured in Chapman Vol. 1, Columbia, University of Missouri Press, 1975, p. 78; a 4-inch red ochre blade, Archaic culture, Henry Goeller farm S.W. of creek bridge; a 2-5-inch Snyder, Woodland culture, Miller site-Lamine River. True Hopewell village at confluence of Lamine R and Mo. R.; plus two more stone points. Plus a 3.5-inch Steuben from the Spicer collection, Woodland culture, found in the Blackwater river bottoms near Holden, Missouri.
