145: A 19TH C. NEOCLASSICAL PIER MIRROR WITH CARYATIDS

The rectangular arched mirror within beaded trim, surrounded by ribband bound foliate and bead-and-reel motif, flanked by acanthus draped caryatids supporting foliate modeled capitals with flame finials, the conforming arched crest surmounted by putti while reclining on the architectural pediment flanking a medallion suspending foliate swags.
Measures 75 x 36.5 x 5 inches.
The surface is both old repaint and rubbed to gesso, one cherub arm missing, scattered lesser breaks, chips and rubs., good overall.
