Silver plated spoon maker marked Wallace. Top of the handle reads 'The E-B Line, Emerson Brantingham Farm Machinery,' and 'Plows, Cultivators, Harrows, Planters, Drills, Hay Tools, Rockford, Ill.' Handle reverse reads Gas Engines, Wagons, Tractors, Spreaders, Threshers and Vehicles,' and depicts 'The Emerson Foot Lift Plow.'
A 1907 catalog shows Emerson's Foot-Lift Lister implement which was designed for easier use by the driver. A lister was advertised to make planting much easier.
