67: RARE AND POSSIBLY UNIQUE PINK 'DOGWOOD' CAKE PLATE

A rare pink depression glass cake plate with fluted edge in the 'Dogwood' pattern, ex Hazel Weatherman collection. The current owner purchased this example directly from Hazel Weatherman, author of Colored Glassware of the Depression Era. Mrs. Weatherman stated that this was the only example known at that time and said that in her opinion, this may have been a prototype that never went into production.
Measures 0.5 x 13 inches.
Very good condition, free from chips, cracks, repairs, scratches and heavy wear.
