The Oakland Motor Car Company was founded in 1907, purchased by General Motors in 1909, and made reasonably priced automobiles until being renamed Pontiac in 1931. Originally named for Oakland County, Michigan, the name change to Pontiac referred to Pontiac, Michigan, the name of the county seat.
Measures 1.5 inches x 1.25 inches.
Some enamel wear and chipping, wear to gold paint.
