Official red enameled fob for Fred Beebe's World Series Rodeo at Madison Square Garden, 1927. Uniface design, reverse with Metropolitan Artcraft, NY maker mark and translucent red enameling.
Horse wrangler and New Mexico Mounted Policeman Fred Beebe directed the 1927 event which, according to Ian Brabner, featured 'Cowboy Clown Shorty Jack Knapp, bareback bronk (bronco) riding, steer wrestling, cowgirls' "bronk" (bronco) riding, calf roping, trick and fancy roping, "Dan Dix and His High School Movie Mule," and "Cowboys' and Cowgirls' Trick and Fancy Riding Contest." The rodeo concluded with a "Wild Horse Race."'
Measures 2.25 inches x 1.25 inches.
Good condition noting some wear to the finish and general signs of age. Enamel generally very good. As shown.
