A nice S-roll oak roll-top desk, the roll top with full compliment of 'cubby' holes and bins, supported by two pedestal drawer banks at either end, brass plate reads, "Leopold Desk Company, Burlington Iowa USA", stamped numbering inside the drawer "No. HO 372".
The seller's provenance for this desk states that it was originally used in the Santa Fe Depot at Garfield, Kansas. When the depot closed it went into service at the Garfield Banking Company and on to Larned, Kansas when that firm became the Moffet Brothers Bank around 1896.
Measures 53 x 72 x 36 inches.
Very good condition free from damage, wear or repair, fine finish and great color.
