226: A FINE AND RARE HEART FORM HEPPLEWHITE VITRINE

A 19th century heart form vitrine, the glazed hinged top with heart-shaped banded and crossbanded frame opening to reveal a velvet-lined interior for display, above conforming sides raised on square tapered legs ending in frog-leg feet joined by a tripartite stretcher, boxwood wood string inlay throughout.
Measures 28 x 19 x 22 inches.
Very good condition noting an old repair to one lower stretcher, very minor surface scuffs easily remedied by commercially available
