A fine example, double sided with enameled 'Nescit Occasum' (it knows no decline) motto and star in the center, white Maltese cross base with crowns between arms. Pierced and swivel crown above with enamel beads, blue and yellow ribbon with pin mount. Includes the original presentation case, maker marked C.F. Carlman AB, Stockholm.
Medal measures 2.325 x 1.5 inches plus ribbon, case measures 1 x 4.25 x 2.5 inches.
Some toning to metal, enamel free from chips, cracks, repairs and heavy wear. Case is also in very good condition overall.
