283: WWII ERA AVIATOR'S HELMET AND GOGGLES, PLUS ANOTHER

A WWII era Army Air Forces A-11 leather aviator's helmet with radio receiver ear phones and goggles, chamois lined helmet marked Army Air Forces on one side, ear phones marked Utah-Chicago, the goggles are unsigned. Plus a pair of vintage aviator's goggles with the original branded aluminum storage case embossed American Optical Company. The lot includes a vintage plaster mannequin bust.
Measures 13.5 x 9 inches as displayed. The goggles case measures 2.5 x 8.5 inches.
The leather helmet is worn and cracked, a 1.25-inch hole near the forehead, radio appears complete, working condition unknown. The helmet's goggles are missing the inside lining in several places. The goggles with case are in very good condition. The mannequin has some chips and wear.
